Cannara Biotech Inc. is currently looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for managing customer inventory and external orders as well as sales shipments for Cannara’s national operations, reporting directly to the Director, Sales Operations. This individual will have a proven ability to leverage data to optimize customer inventories, through cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing and supply chain teams. Success in this role will be determined by your ability to analyze, interpret and provide recommendations on customer initiatives to support Cannara’s annual sales plan.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- – Optimize customer inventory levels and provide recommended order quantities based on historical volume, distribution and scheduling; – Work with the sales team to optimize product launch quantities based on market data and expectations; – Support forecasting initiatives by working closely with the Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to help establish and implement the annual plan; – Identify risks related to aging and excess inventory and work with sales to develop an action plan ; – Develop and support routine reporting through weekly updates of shipments versus forecasts; – Manage external relationships with key customer supply chain contacts to ensure appropriate exchange, planning and execution of customer replenishment and inventory information ; – Work directly with the Director, Sales Operations to monitor, review and consolidate inventory levels and order delivery accuracy; – Provide weekly updates to the sales team on expected stock dates and upcoming product launch dates.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- – 2 to 4 years’ experience in analysis, sales operations, customer supply chain or sales planning, ideally within the FMCG sector;
– Advanced MS Excel skills. Knowledge of Power BI is an asset;
– Excellent communication skills, including oral, written and presentation skills;
– Strong analytical skills and ability to turn knowledge into strategy;
– Good understanding of cannabis and industry regulations;
– Experience in managing multiple demands under tight deadlines;
